About the Grants Database

Programs in this database are related to wildfire. Topics include wildland fire prevention, mitigation and suppression; community wildfire protection planning; tree thinning, planting and fuels reduction; forest restoration; watershed improvement; biomass/renewable energy; facilities development; emergency management; training; and equipment purchase.

Other natural resource management programs also included are wildlife habitat; wetland improvement; education and outreach; research and development; technology; sustainable land use; community assistance; and economic, rural and business development.

We realize that natural resource stewardship, whether it is caring for our forests or for any other element in nature, must be an interwoven process in order to sustain a more ecologically sound place for us to live.

We are based in the Rocky Mountain area, yet programs contained within this database may pertain to individual states, regions, nationwide, or in some cases, may include international focus.
